The following is an article that appeared in 'Flight International' Magazine 30th September 1978. Reporting on pilots Bob Bailey and Bob Calvert both breaking the UK and European cross country record on Sunday 17th September 1978. The new distance has been stretched out 30.6 miles, thrashing the old record of 24 miles.
