The UAS Storm Buggy

Ultralight Aviation Systems

The UAS trike unit was built by Nick Wriggerly in Wales and was coupled to either the Solar Wings 'Storm' or 'Typhoon' hang glider. It was powered by a Sachs 22h.p. two stroke engine, using a nylon three bladed propeller, driven by a timing tooth belt reduction system. Cruise speed was 50 mph at 2/3rds throttle.
