British Towing History

The Norfolk Hang Gliding Club staged a Tow meeting at Little Snoring Airfield in Norfolk. Inviting anybody or club from around the country to come along and show off the system they were using. The idea being that maybe a fail safe system could be developed incorporating parts from every system, for the safety of all who wanted to pursue and use towing as a means of getting into the air, especially those from the flat lands.

The whole event was organised by Greg Thompson September 1979
